The Visit

I didn't have the greatest of days a week ago Saturday for two reasons.

1. I was put in a C R A T E, then set atop the dining room table.

2. While I was in said C R A T E, lo-and-behold, a big white fluffy dog appeared right there in my dining room. This was THE Casper D Dog that I had been hearing about all week. My parents said he was gonna visit on Saturday and I can attest that he did visit.

My parents were surprised I made a low growl and not a hiss. Which is better? A growl or a hiss? Other than the growl, for the most part, I was pretty silent.

One of the first sentences out of Casper's Mum was how I was BIGGER than she expected. Is that a compliment?

When I was sent back upstairs to my main room, my parents were pleased that I seemed content and undisturbed at knowing a dog was downstairs. I didn't hold any grudges because I am a good cat, however I'm still gonna send my parents to the library to get a Training 101 book on Cat Behavior so they can understand me better. They keep telling me that I'm gonna have to get used to white fluffy dogs sooner or later, but they assured me they love me and I have a permanent home with them.

Because it was Valentine's Day, even though I am a cat and Casper is a dog, I presented Casper with a bag of sweet potato fry doggie treats. I have heard Casper is a sweet potato addict.

Casper's got that Elvis grin going on for him.

Casper sure is fluffy these days!

And Casper gave us a beautiful tapestry rolling bag with lots of cats on it. It can be used for shopping or for traveling.

See how small it can fold up and put into a suitcase? When my parents go on travel, all the cat souvenirs for me can go into it for the return trip home!

My parents love their new cat carrying bag! I am starting to think my parents are becoming CAT PEOPLE! That goes to show how well of a trainer I am.

What fun to have Casper come to visit! We think you did a good job by growling and not hissing. Those white fluffy dogs are very special...we know 'cause we had an Eskie sister once.

Well Prints that Casper sure is a cutie pie! But they put in the carrier and just left you on the table how rude. At least they let you out later, maybe you'll have proved to them next time you dont need the crate and maybe they'll just hold you and see how you act....I hate when the carrier door gets closed

Hi Prince! You sure are a handsome cat. We read about you on Jacqueline's Cat House bloggie and thought we'd come visit.

Looks like you did okay with your visit with Casper, hopefully next time your humans will let you stay out of the cage. We hate those.

Oh, and we read down a little and saw that your Barkday is the same day as our Mommy's birthday - it's a good day to celebrate! :D Happy belated Barkday to you!

Purrs and hugs,
The Kitty Krew

Hey there Prints. I had a great time visiting. Hopefully next time we can play. Do not worry. I am not scary. I would love to play with you and be able to sniff you up close. So next time I hope you won't stay in your crate.

I love the sweet potato treats. They are my favorite. And I am glad you liked the kitty bag.

How did Happy's visit go?

Belated Birthday greetings to you and your Mommie.

oh boy prints- you did really well. Sister says your parents are pretty lucky! Because you could've been pretty mad about the dog being in your territory- to not be surprised if you have behavior problems after. Both you and the dog should've been crated and let sniff each other through the bars- and also lucky that when they took you out of the carrier, you didn't bite or scratch them! tell your parents to be very careful! Best to let you hide on your own and have the feeling that you CAN get away, and the dog can't get you. Glad everything went better than when mom introduced ben to the cats!

Casper is one great Eskie, isn't he? You are very lucky to know him personally. He can tell you LOTS of stuff about Hana, your angel sister because he was kind of her boyfriend.
