Lazy Afternoon

Are YOU looking at ME? Yes, I'm relaxing on the kitchen table. Ironic the evil spray bottle of water is next to me. My Mom is successfully trained to find me on kitchen counters, on chairs, on computer desks, on the bar counter, in cabinets, on the bedroom closet shelf, and in window sills! With a dog, she would look "down", but with a cat, she now looks "up." She says having a cat is different than having a dog.

I'm gonna take a snooze on the very edge of this kitchen table!

Just you wait till you get in trouble. Spider and Smudge sit on the table when I am unlocking the door.

Careful you don't roll off. LOL. Our human doesn't let us up on the table or counters when she's around. Of course we get up when she's out of sight!

I agree with Kea, I've rolled over and ouch...so watch yourself...try the middle of the table!

Our Mom tries to keep us off of certain stuff but we climb anyway; she never gets too mad because she says we live here more than she does so it's more our house anyway!!...Now, if only we had thumbs..........Have a great weekend...xo...Calle,Halle,Sukki

Isn't the spray bottle supposed to be a warning to "stay off?" Not working, huh? You sure don't look convinced that the table is a no-no.

You have trained your mom and dad puuuurfectly!

You're right about having to look everywhere. Every so often we lose our C A T and have to go looking for her. We've learned that she likes to climb in to the armoir (which holds the TV in the master bedroom) and fall asleep. When my parents get up, they close the doors and the C A T gets locked inside. She's silly, because she will stay there for hours and never ask to come out. What's wrong with you C A T's that you can sleep anywhere??? Just askin'....

We're impressed you can snooze right next to the evil squirt bottle. It would make us nervous...

You are doing superb with your training. Of course the kitchen table is for taking naps! And that spray bottle? It must be for misting plants, right?

We never sleep on the table. Actually, we prefer cubes, and pyramid beds and things like that. Sometimes we sleep on the couch. But we're actually not table cats. Unless of course, there is food up there and your name is hansel.

Is the table really a no-no? I'm sure you didn't get in trouble. My pawrents tried that evil water bottle training when I was a baby. I would just try to catch the water with my mouth. Ha ha, the joke was on them!:)
