Hole in My Sweater, Hole in My Head

Hm. Why do I have a hole in my head? Can someone offer an explanation on my bald spot? My parents are worried about me. Help. This hole came rather suddenly, almost overnight it seems. My parents are constantly petting me on my head or kissing me on my head, and today they discovered the hole, so they are fairly certain this came about suddenly. Today my poopie was half solid and half yucky, if that helps any. Otherwise, things have been hunky dorky. No flea/tick meds either this week.

Hope nothing is wrong with me. What do you think? Is it common? This morning my parents saw a bunch of fur on the carpet. They now think the fur came from my head, perhaps.

Hi, Prince.
I have no idea why you have that hole in your head but sure I hope it is nothing serious!
Take care

Amanda has a hole, just like that, back of her neck too... and I have no idea how, when and why she got that...

Were your brains itchy? I guess as long as there is no blood, there is no need to worry.

We get odd bald spots from time to time. Mum keeps a close eye on them and the fur always grows back. If the skin on the bald spot looks red, inflammed or flaky she takes us to the V-E-T

Probably not what you want to here...but I think the V-E-T should decide...with the softish poop especially. You might be allergic to something.

Hmmm..... Cal would get some bald spots like that and they were self-inflicted. He had an allergy.

I agree with Brian ~ perhaps a trip to the VET is in order. Just to be sure. That will put everyone at ease when they hopefully tell you it's nothing serious. Best to catch anything early ~ because I don't think a 'comb over' is really you! :)

Yeah, better safe than sorry Prince. I hope you have a real nice vet that would either give you an idea over the phone or a very discounted rate for just a quick looksie

Well, you know what they say, "bald is beautiful"......we are purring that it is nothing to worry about...but if the "drizzles" continue, checking with a v-e-t might be in order.

My Mia has had the same kind of bald spot since I got her from the rescue at 6 months of age (she's 5 now). Her foster mum said it was a reaction to her kitten shots; my vet said it didn't appear to be causing her harm and she's never had any other reactions/bald spots. So do get it checked out, but hopefully it's a harmless, isolated incident.

You sure do have a hole in your head, uh sweater! What could have happened? Did you get your furs stuck in something? Did you scratch your furs off? We sure hope you are not allergic to corn!
We think your hairs will probably grow back, but have you called your Dr V-E-T?
Mom has been so busy working again. We will go visit Cappy....there must be a link on your blog. Is something wrong with Cappy?

We agree that it is best to get it checked out...would not want you to have an allergy or skin rash that doesn't clear up. It is probably nothing serious so don't panic.

Prints,
Armani is like a horse. He is always in my way and his furs in my face.
But just wanted to come back over and tell you to ask you parents to get you a bird video. Chester's sissie sent us the one we were watching and it is the best. Ask your parents, k?
Watching a movie might make the furs grow back on your head....tell them that, k?

Prints,
Oh no, we don't have our own tv room yet. That pic on my Big World is the good plazma tv, and we got in trouble touching it, and Gaia even put her claws on the birdies! So mom ordered another cheap dvd player from best buy and she is going to hook it up in another room for us with an older tv that we can touch! So how's that for training? hee hee
Are your furs growing back yet on your head?
