The Importance of a Dust Free Environment

My mom is still in cat training. It is wearing my patience. A few weeks ago she learned the important of clean window sills. NOW I am teaching her the importance of cleaning under the big bed. My mom is not a good duster. She will do anything such as cleaning the big people litterbox, but neglects to dust under the big people bed. Cough - choke - cough! It's filthy under here!

And you know what? It's a catch-22. I can't win because if she cleaned under the big people bed, then she brings out that big torture device called the carpet eater, which I despise. It darn near gave me a heart attack the other night when she turned it on 2 feet away from me when I was under the bed but she didn't know I was right there in the same room! I skee-daddled outta there faster than you can say "Boo!"

My Mom has a lot to learn regarding cat housekeeping.

I know what you mean, Prints! When I go fishing under the Fridge with my Paw, for a lost bone. The dust that comes out with my Paw, it's disgraceful.

I don't like the Big Bad Carpet Eater at all either, it gobbles up my treats!

Prints, you gave us all such a good laugh. Our feline, Peanut Butter, read your post, looked at us with those big eyes and said she finally felt vindicated for her hatred of the carpet monster and dust bunny's floating around where the parents think no one can see! Please let your mom know that she is exactly the perfect cat mom!!

Love,
Prinnie and Digby

ps: It is our honor to make a treat in Hana's name. So glad you like it.

Be gentle when teaching your mom...it is a lot of new stuff for her to learn! Not only do I have cold but now dad has the snuffles, too! I can't wait to feel good enough to want to run at the park but right now I just want to nap.

Hi, Prince!
I know what you mean!
I don't care about dust under the bed... but sure my mom does and she is always taking the monster machine out of the closet to do the cleaning thing!
I just can imagine the episode there in your house!
Kisses and hugs

Oh boy, the things you need to teach your Mom and Dad. I'm glad they're learning. The carpet eater is SO very scary. I'm curious about it when Mommy brings it out of the closet. I'm outta there once she turns it on though. Why does it have to be so loud?

Teddy Bear

I told my mom we had only read some of your posts on her phone and I did not get to write comments, so here we are!
I have to say that my mom is not good at keeping a dust free environment at all. I think if you keep pointing out things like dust to your mom, surely she will learn and clean it up for you....now my mom, I am not so sure! I think you have your mom better trained already.
