I sidled up to my new best friend yesterday!
I sat by him for a long long time. Then I decided to lie down next to him, my body against my new friend. Mom came and turned him off, and moved him a few inches away from me. She also noticed I was just about to rub my head up against him. After she moved him, I went to sit next to him again, and then she moved him AGAIN. Parents! I'm just trying to make a nice warm new friend with him.
p.s. My parents are avidly observing and monitoring the hole in my head. If the appearance gets worse or it does not heal up, it will be off to the V E T later this week! Dad thinks he had been giving me too much people milk lately, and that this is an allergic reaction. He knows he is not supposed to give me people milk. Maybe he will give me special cat milk then, once I get a few strands of fur back on my bald spot. I sure hope my hole grows closed so I can get special cat milk.

Hi Prints - nice to meet you. Thanks for commenting on my blog.
I hope by the time you read this, you'll know what's causing the bald spot.
Tell your parents to buy an electric mattress pad for their bed. It's a lot safer for you than a heater and the settings can be adjusted. Also, they'll ALWAYS
know where to find you.
Hugs, barks and yips,
Cappy
Hi, Prince!
I have one of those "friends" here in my house but it scares me... I don't know why!
Cappy's idea is very good.
Kisses and hugs

Hey Prints:
That's a pretty slick friend you have there, but be careful, because sometimes those friends can bite. Cappy's on to something with a nice kitty bed warmer!!!
Love,
Prinnie and Digby
What a nice warm new friend. I think you've chosen a great best friend. My pawrents only turn on the warmer thing (similar to your best friend) when they take showers. It intrigues me so I like to stare at it. I hope the hole in your head gets better, Prints.
Love,
Teddy Bear
That's a toasty friend you got :)
Amanda's best friend is called "fire place", he is pretty toasty too!
Prince, we think the hole is probably from fighting or scratching and your dad shouldn't worry too much.
I have never have milk, but some cats find it yummy. I am sure if you like it, and you get some water as well that will be fine too. Maybe it is the milk that has been making your poops a bit sticky.
Your new friend looks great, I am sure you are going to love him lots.
Your new friend is so cool...nope, I mean hot!!!
Your new best friend sure looks warm and toasty!
There is cat milk at pet smart and walmart called whiskas cat sip. It is yummy!!
Sitting by a cozy heater is so enjoyable ~ careful not to burn your cute little nose!
Hopefully your hair grows back soon but even if it doesn't, you are still a very pretty kitty!
Our warm freinds are fixed to the wall. It's so cool that your warm friend can move around.
We hope your blad spot is gone soon!
That looks like a nice new warm friend, but careful not to burn your furs....you may end up with another hole in your head!
Mom never gave us milk cuz she heard it gives cats die uh rea. But Chester used to drink all of his mama Gaia's milk, so his foster parents gave him Lactaid when he was a baby. Mom continued to give him Lactaid till he stopped liking milk. Maybe you are allergic to lactose and you might want to try some? Chester never had poo problems when he was drinking that.
Mom tried giving us Catsip from Petsmart but none of us ever touched it.

We think you need an electric blanket instead of that strange looking new friend.
Oh, yes, people milk is bad for most of us kitties.......Andy is terribly allergic to it; occasionally the girls leave a cereal milk bowl sitting around and he drinks some and really suffers for it. Sammy has no interest in it at all.
We hope your "hole in the head" goes away so you don't have to go to the v-e-t. xxxxxx
Warm is good but be careful, my friend!
Prints, sister JUST saw your comment- so very sorry! You can ALWAYS write sister an email and sister checks that everyday.
The spot isn't red or gross is it? It's probably not an allergic reaction. The yucky poop can be from the milk though. Sometimes, it's too rich, and can cause "GI UPSET" is how my vet would say it. aka, upset tummy. If the spot gets larger, definitely visit a vet. Anything else your mom could tell us? The spot looks white- but maybe that's just the flash of the camera?
